When can I apply for CDCP?
Applications are being rolled out in phases. Seniors 65+ can apply now, followed by other age groups throughout 2024-2025.
Do all dentists accept CDCP?
Not all dentists participate in CDCP. Use our directory to find providers who have opted into the program.
What if I have private insurance through work?
If you have access to dental insurance through your employer, you are not eligible for CDCP, even if you choose not to enroll.
How long does approval take?
Processing times vary, but most applications are processed within 4-8 weeks.
Can I use CDCP outside of Canada?
No, CDCP coverage is only valid for dental services received within Canada from participating providers.
